The Portable Wireless MagBank is a magnetic, wireless charger that eliminates the need to carry a bulky charger and cables wherever you go! The portable wireless charger works with MagSafe accessories, and is compatible with every phone that supports wireless charging.
The Portable Wireless MagBank is compatible with almost every phone that supports wireless charging. For iPhone 12's, MagBank will magnetically attach without a problem. For all other phones, apply the included adhesive magnetic ring to the back of your phone, with or without a case.
MagBank works with most cases! If your case is flat and is made of a hard material, the included magnetic ring should stick just fine, thought it may have issues sticking if your case has ridges or lots of texture.
Does the MagBank work over a phone case?
The MagBank works with most cases, and works best with cases less than 5mm thick. Thinner the case, the faster it will charge. Each MagBank comes with an additional magnetic ring attachment which can be used on the back of cases and non-iPhone 12 devices.
I don't have an iPhone 12. Is my Samsung/Android device compatible with the MagBank?
Yes! The MagBank is compatible with all devices that support wireless charging, including Samsung and other Android devices. Just be sure to use the provided ring attachment!
How fast will the MagBank charge my phone?
The MagBank's wireless charging is designed to make your day-to-day more convenient, but is limited due to the current wireless technology. Therefore, the speed is inevitably slower than that of a wired charger. Also, the greater the distance between the phone and the charger, the slower it will charge, which is why a thin case (< 5mm) is preferred.
Why does the MagBank get hot?
When charging your phone, it is normal for the battery pack to get warmer than your standard wired chargers. This is normal for wireless chargers, and should not be a reason for concern.
Do I need to use the ring attachment? If so, how do I install it?
Unless you like to live life on the edge, it's probably safe to assume that you are using a phone case. If you have a MagSafe case, the MagBank will attach to the case without the ring attachment. If your case isn't MagSafe, then you will need to stick the ring attachment onto the back-center of your phone/case. Follow the these steps to install the ring attachment:
1. Turn the MagBank on (press side-button once) and slowly slide it across the back of your phone until it begins to charge. Hold it in place for a few seconds and confirm it is still charging. This is the charging zone of your phone.
2. Now that you know where your charging zone is, remove the MagBank and peel the 3M adhesive film off of the ring attachment.
3. Stick the adhesive side of the ring attachment onto the charging zone. Be sure to evenly apply pressure onto the ring and wait 30 seconds, to ensure a solid seal.
4. Turn on your MagBank and attach it onto the back of your phone or case, and it should begin charging!
